Chippewa Pemmican is a native American survival food, we chose the Chippewa recipe because they used honey to sweeten it, 1/3rd ground up beef jerky, 1/3 crushed nuts and berries 1/3 beef fat and a bit of honey, it’s high protein and delicious, it would be buried in places so when the tribe were hunting, if they had no luck they would know where food stashes were buried for use in emergencies, it lasts foe ever, some 350 year old Pemmican was recently discovered buried in raw hide in the prairie and was still edible
